ClASS CISM: Individual and Group Crisis Intervention


Date/Time: 14-16 June 2018 (0800 -1800  each day)

Course Description: This double course will cover both “Assisting Individuals in Crisis” and “Group Crisis Intervention”. Participants will leave with the knowledge and tools to provide several group crisis interventions such as demobilizations, defusing, and the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. This course also covers the appropriate follow-up services and referrals when necessary.


This Course will meet requirements for Certification Level: 100 - Basic  Chaplain

Essentials of Emergency Service Chaplaincy


Date/Time:  12-13 June  2018 (0800-1700 each day)
Location: Alabama Fire Colloge   (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Course Fee:  $325.00 (Rates increase to $375 on 29 May) Fee includes the FFC Chaplain’s Manual.

               

Prerequisite: Participants must be members of Federation of Fire Chaplains to get course credit. 


Class Description - This course provides the foundation for Fire/Rescue/EMS chaplains service. It teaches an established and credentialed system of protocols in order to provide chaplain service to emergency service workers and the public. 


This Course will meet requirements for Certification Level: 100 - Basic  Chaplain


SPECIAL BONUS THIS CLASS ONLY: Chaplains who bring the following completed documents to class will be provided with 2018 membership in the Federation of Fire Chaplains as a gift from the Tennessee Federation of Fire Chaplains:
                                              1. Completed FFC Application www.FireChaplains.org
                                              2. Signed letter of appointment on department letterhead
                                              3. Signed letter of ecclesiastical endorsement on faith group letterhead
                                              4. Copy of Ordination Certificate or signed letter from clergyperson willing to serve as your pastoral care supervisor
