Essentials of Emergency Service Chaplaincy


Date/Time: 23 and 24 April 2021 (8 AM – 5 PM)                                    

Location: Crossville, TN
Course Fee: TFFC/FFC Member* Rate $225 ___               Non-member Course Fee $325 ___
* Membership must be accepted by TFFC/FFC prior to registering for the reduced class fee.
Course fees must be received two weeks prior to class date.


This course provides the foundation for Fire/Rescue/EMS chaplain service and teaches an established and credentialed system of protocols to provide chaplaincy care to emergency service workers and the public. This class provides the initial requirement for Basic Chaplain Certification for the Tennessee Federation of Fire Chaplains. Prerequisites for this course: NIMS 700, 800, 100 and 200 https://training.fema.gov/nims (these are all FREE) – certificates must be turned in at registration. Taught by combined academy faculty. Course fee will include a version of the Federation of Fire Chaplains Training Manual.

All students must use COVID-19 precautions including social distancing, face masks, frequent hand washing/sanitizer, classroom separation practices and daily temperature checks.
